The Misc. Stall featuring Yes Art :: Alas, the only pic I took, slightly fuzzy, of my first embroidered ‘yes’ (at my amazing friend Beth’s Make & Share Backyard Fair; an outstanding success of local community and homemade goodness). There’s more to come. Luckily I know who bought this so I’ll have to remember to swing by and take a better pic. Incidentally, ‘The Sleeper Project’ made it into this pic too - an old project, but a goodie. It was nice to get that out again…

In Progress :: Sidesaddle Cluster & Track Stitch Scarf :: 3.0mm hook :: Bendigo Woollen Mills Luxury 4 ply in Stone :: My first attempt at Sidesaddle Cluster stitch in a scarf for Mum. Using a much smaller hook than I’m used to so it was a little difficult to begin with but I’m glad I persisted. 30 rows of 12 clusters (6 stitches across) before switching to track stitch; row of single crochet to change, skipping each 6th stitch to try and even out the waviness of the clusters. Four rows of single crochet before switching to tracks with three rows of single crochet between… Have no idea at all how I’ll switch back to clusters to finish the scarf off!

In Progress :: Ridged Chevron Stitch Blanket :: 4.0mm hook :: Bendigo Woollen Mills Classic 8 ply in Aztec, Mulberry, Silver & Poseidon :: At about two metres wide, it’s dawning on me just how long this is going to take; this is about one eighth of the way through. Also, I’m going to need a lot more yarn. Eep.
In Progress :: Small Granny Square Throw :: 3.5mm hook (I think) :: A load of hand-me-down acrylic yarn donated by the mother (Mrs Butler) of a friend (Mel) of a good friend (Kate) of mine to me - love the crafty lady grape vine! :: This is actually finished now, but I wanted to share these to show just how many of these cute-but-annoying little squares I made.
